In 2021, men still die six years ahead of women on average.
There are many reasons for this: lifestyle choices, risk-taking behaviour but also getting access to structural care. Many men avoid getting help from doctors. In particular when it comes to prevention. We founded Kranus Health to change this and help men lead a longer and healthier life.
Behind Kranus Health is a team of four experienced founders: Prof. Dr. Kurt Miller, a leading Urologist at the Charité Berlin for decades, Jens Nörtershäuser, a business leader with years of experience in the Pharma and Healthcare industry, Nikolay Dimolarov, an experienced software engineer with a passion for health, and Thilo Kleinschmidt whose passion goes back to childhood days as a result of growing up in a family of Urologists. Together, we bring decades of first-hand experience with our healthcare system to the table: as patients, as doctors and as industry experts.
Our diverse team at Kranus Health combines experience and innovative power.
In our first year, we have grown from four founders to a diverse group of 20+ people working relentlessly on making the vision of Kranus Health a reality. We certified our first medical product, Kranus Edera that will help millions of men with a reimbursable and root-cause oriented digital treatment for erectile dysfunction. But we’re not stopping here!
We believe technology is the key to break cost hurdles to get high-quality healthcare in the future, to lower barriers to get help for patients and to enable new forms of treatments. Kranus Health will grow into a global end-to-end platform that puts the patient at the center, from beginning to end. This means being there from the start with easy to afford and accessible telemedicine, offering innovative treatments for widespread diseases via digital therapeutics, through providing best-in-class medical advice for the entire duration of treatment all the way to digital empowered home diagnostics backing up medical decisions.
We know it is going to be a long journey towards reaching our vision but we are working hard every day to enable better healthcare for the future.
If this strikes a chord with you please send us a note. We would love to hear from you.
Kurt, Jens, Nikolay and Thilo
