Just a few steps to the prescription
Issue prescription
Once a diagnosis has been made, you can issue a prescription for Kranus Edera to patients with statutory health insurance. The prescription for Kranus Edera runs through your PVS with PZN 17946632 and the indication "Erectile Dysfunction" (ICD 10 N48.4).
Submit prescription
Your patient can upload the prescription directly via our upload website (www.kranus.de). Kranus will take care of submission to the health insurance fund for your patient and accompany him/her to the start of therapy.
Transmission of the access code and registration
Your patient will receive an access code from their health insurance company. With this code, they can log in to the app.
Kranus Health provides your patients with advisors by telephone.
Follow- up prescription
Arrange a follow-up appointment with your patient in 3 months to review the therapy report and discuss a follow-up prescription if necessary.
A follow-up prescription is fully reimbursable and is issued in the same way as the initial prescription.

Patients with private health insurance submit the completed "Application for cost assumption" to the health insurance company.

DiGA , short for Digital Health App, are digital tools that help people treat illness or manage health problems. Our DiGA can be used on smartphones or tablets.
In order to be recognised as a DiGA and thus billable as a health insurance benefit, an application must be submitted to the BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices) for each application and the subsequent examination procedure must be passed.
All physicians who have a health insurance fund seat for billing to the statutory health insurance fund can prescribe DiGA.
Yes, DiGAs* represent a new category of therapeutic options alongside medicines, remedies and aids, the effectiveness and benefits of which have been proven in studies. Approval is granted through a standardised procedure by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. For patients with statutory health insurance, DiGAs are prescribed by means of a PZN on a health insurance prescription; patients with private health insurance must apply to their health insurance company in advance for the costs to be covered. Together with the prescription, the patient receives an activation code from their health insurance company, which gives them access to the app.
